|
I thought Widodo might have held up a bit after 2 of his Indonesian Subjects were executed without his prior knowledge in Saudi last week , Two women beheaded to be exact. He wasn't happy and protested like fuck
Anyway order has bee issued for the 2 Aussies could be a s little as 72 hours

At least three of 10 people on death row in Indonesia for drug smuggling have been given formal notice of their imminent execution. Two Australians, Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran, and a Philippines woman, Mary Jane Veloso were notified by Indonesian officials on Saturday. Under Indonesian law, convicts must be given 72 hours' notice of execution, but no formal date has yet been set.

Don’t agree with what they did but just can’t see how killing them is going to make any difference.
If anything this is about Politics, nothing to do with drugs, Widodo making a statement that he’s in charge
Very sad especially for there family’s.

Its all about Politics IMO 67, he may have offered Saudi money, odds on its for him to look good to the Indonesian voters though, irony of it is that Australia have offered to pay all cost for keeping both Chan and Sukamaran in jail for life, but he refused.

Or he could want to show his ASEAN partners the tough stance his government takes on drug traffickers and be the focus of the meeting.
Must be horrendous for those on death row, being given the 72 hour notice letter and then asked to sign that you received it, WTF is that all about, bit of extra punishment or something?, see the Filipino woman refused to sign hers, so they gave her another letter saying she had been given her letter but refused to sign it, so this new letter was as good as her signing!!!!
No matter what they did I just can’t either see the point or agree that the death penalty, jail for life but not the firing squad.

Taken from the DM.
"The executions of Andrew Chan and Myuran Sukumaran (left and inset) will take place after the stroke of midnight on Tuesday night-Wednesday morning after local funeral director Suhendra Putro was instructed to inscribe the names of those to be shot and the date of their deaths on wooden crosses. The date '29.04.15' and the letters 'RIP' were added in white ink. As this exclusive picture (right) shows, the seven coffins are ready for the six men and one woman, due to be executed. As well as the names of the two Australians, the names of Brazilian national Rodrigo Gularte, Nigerian Silvester Obiekwe Nwolise and Mary Jane Fiesta Veloso of the Philippines, were also written in white on the wooden crosses. Raheem Agbaje Salami and Martin Anderson are also due to be executed but, as non-Christians, their coffins will not be adorned with crosses."
